Phuket Dive Guide : Phi Phi Don - Hin Pae

About the location and site
Hin Pae lies southeast of Phi Phi Don in front of Long Beach. It is a relatively shallow reef dive site with depths ranging from 8 to 16 metres.
Hin Pae is sometimes called Baby Shark Point, as it is a breeding ground for baby black tip sharks. Even snorkelers have the opportunity to see them. The main topography includes boulder and brain corals, with many holes and tunnels for moray eels to pass through. Soft and hard coral patches scattered in white sand provide shelter for a rich variety of coral fish. Crabs, lobsters, clownfish, parrotfish, bannerfish, butterflyfish, angelfish, groupers, snappers, and surgeonfish are also residents of this area.
