Phuket Dive Guide : Phi Phi Don - Nui bay
About the location and site
Nui bay is located along the northwest coast of Phi Phi Don Island. Two large limestone rocks on the surface sit in front of the bay, offering an enjoyable shallow dive with some exciting swimthroughs. The inside of the bay is also suitable for snorkeling.
There are plenty of corals and colorful reef fish around. The western section features a wall that descends to a depth of 20m. The marine life includes sweetlips, moray eels, various nudibranch species, seahorses, and sometimes ghost pipefish. Turtles can also be spotted here. The site is usually dived only on local dives or a liveaboard from Phuket.
